The secret behind a perfect chocolate lies in the tempering process.
Starting with the best Belgium couverture chocolate with a high cocoa butter content, we gently heat and cool the chocolate to ensure it has a smooth, glossy finish and a crisp snap. The tempering method has been perfected by Panny over the years and is one of the reasons why our chocolates taste so good.
The tempered chocolate is poured into moulds, with delicious fillings added according to the recipe. Many of the fillings for Pannys chocolates are made on site, even to the point where we roast our own hazelnuts and almonds to ensure they perfectly adhere to our standards.
Pannys makes their own marzipan, peanut brittle, honeycomb, Turkish Delight and the ever popular rocky road mix on site, guaranteeing a unique and special taste for each style.
Every chocolate made by Pannys is lovingly created by one of our chocolate artisans. When we say hand made we mean it. Our truffles are hand formed, one at a time. Tempering, filling, packing and wrapping is all hand done and can be observed when visiting Pannys Amazing World of Chocolate.
